I don't know who or what is the inspiration behind this, but the thought is beautiful. Some lines, although all of them are way too simplistic, are very well written.
This might be my lack of understanding of the genre that you belong to, but I feel that you need to edit it better. Little unwanted words that the song can do without, should be done away with.
Again, as i always say, 'verse chorus verse' is your thing and you should hone that skill of yours as much as possible.
